Paradox of Modern Man

Posted in Atheist, belief, enlightenment, faith, life, religion, scriptures, thoughts on November 17, 2016 by chouck017894

Modern man with all his brilliant technological accomplishments inexplicably remains chained to myths and superstitions that still lie hidden beneath what are averred to be holy/spiritual truths.  The sciences that have revolutionized our species’ life patterns have done so despite the fact that the origin of life is even now not totally understood.  We praise ourselves as having entered into the space age and think we are meant to dominate it, yet we have only theories or theological speculations of how our celestial environment came into being.  But not even science, like man’s faith systems, is able to explain why life exists, what role we play in the universal panorama, or how an awareness of “self” interacts with that vast framework that is the universe.  And science also tends to mimic religious contentions that the entire universe is relatively systematic, that Creation was a one-shot deal–a big bang or a six day wonder–which the human species alone is capable of dominating through its ability of deductive reasoning.

Science, however, differs from faith system explanations of man in that their research and studies have culled and continues to cull and analyze the evidence which mankind’s ancestors pioneered.  Religious explanations tend to calculate man’s history–for their convenience–as being a scant few thousand years, but the in-depth scientific approach shows that our species with identical capabilities can be traced back for at least a million years.

The insistence of faith systems regarding a short term human history is made even more puzzling when modern man is lulled by them into accepting that what is referred to as “primitive” cultures nonetheless raised wondrous construction feats such as the Baalbek Terrace in Lebanon, the Great Pyramid in Egypt, and similar ancient pyramids in South America and the Far East.  These are structures that would tax even modern man’s capabilities.

Mystery, ceremony and magic rites were once the power hold ploys that ancient tribal leaders employed to maintain control over tribal members.  Commonly that privileged status was understood to be due to the tribal leader’s claim of being directly counseled by temperamental spirits.  We today recognize that manner of seeking protection as superstition and nonsense.   But just how advanced are faith system practices today that are conducted in great extent in much the same manner?  The heart and soul of any of mankind’s contrive faith systems also adhere to similar features which keeps those systems insulated from scrutiny, for they are practiced in fear of questions which they cannot answer.  When devout seekers begin to ask Why?  How? Where? When? Who? etc., the tribal-styled faith systems react in anxiety and distress.  Thus they advise that such questions are not supposed to be asked of pulpit performers who, as an alternative, counsel that true believers are to trust the Bronze Age priest-authors who were divinely certain that the Earth was the center of Creation.  The declared “revealed” wisdom offered by the power-seeking priest authors in antiquity simply does not stand as “omniscient” (all-knowing) comprehension against today’s scientific research and exploration.

As an example of superstition elevated to “religious” status, it is fully exposed in the Jewish ceremony known as kapparot (from Semite, akin to Hebrew kaph, meaning “palm of hand”).  Kapparot is an atonement ritual which is indulged in before the holiday of Yom  Kippur.  In the ritual (which requires a “donation” of a live chicken to the rabbi for the performance) a rabbi holds the live chicken above the donor’s head (gently of course) and recites a blessing.  The luckless bird is then slaughtered (according to Jewish dietary laws).  Why this ritual bloodletting of a hapless animal should inspire God to grant the donor reconciliation with God after having transgressed “his” covenants is murky at best.  On the other hand, every faith system has their atonement rites which are equally caked with peculiar stipulations that supposedly satisfies the Creator–like Jesus died for the sins of the world.  The superstitious prehistory tribal shamans would find such bloodletting to be praiseworthy.

So how spiritually advanced is modern man?  The human species, unfortunately, has been well schooled in deluding itself.  And our poor planet is beginning to show the strain and damage that mankind’s belief systems have fostered.  But the holy answer is not necessarily apocalyptic doom.  Man’s atonement rests in the release of taught “religious” (belief system) claims of exclusiveness with Creation’s multiplicity.  Humanity must face the fact that true freedom of spirit (meaning enlightenment) is not the true purpose of any man-concocted faith system.  If those formulated methods of faith indulgence were devoted to actual spiritual attainment and awareness they would seek to enlighten followers, not constrain seekers with made-up rites, rituals, scripted ceremonies and pretended exclusivity with a never-encountered judgmental god.  We might therefore conclude from such acts of pretense that only con-men have such needs for public exhibitionism.

Black Holes of Religious Practice

Posted in Atheist, belief, enlightenment, faith, random, religion, scriptures, theology, thoughts on February 14, 2016 by chouck017894

(Recent scientific breakthrough regarding gravitational waves and black hole connection has inspired the release of this 2007 unpublished posting.)

Black holes, theoretical physicists tell us, are massive deep throat light swallowing areas which are scattered throughout the universe.  The “holes,” the theory goes, are the result of cores of massive stars that have imploded and collapsed in upon themselves.  The immense gravity at the core of these space objects, the theory suggests, siphon into themselves all the existing energy-as-matter that happen to be unlucky enough to have cruised around the former massive star.  Strangely, that hole of collapsing energy and the vast gravitational field which results may present a relatively smooth, calm appearing picture to the region that we see surrounding it.  Indeed, any random fluctuations against the gravitational core may be barely registered from our perspective.  And it is this deceptive tranquil appearance that we dare to compare to man-invented faith systems.

Consider: In a very real sense human contrived faith systems can be said to imitate the same process that is theorized in astrophysics as black hole activity.  The core around which human consciousness is attracted may become ill-fatedly propelled as a knot of superstition which has collapsed in upon itself to often become active as the identity crushing whirl of religious fundamentalism.  The gravitational pull of these imploding belief cores upon human consciousness then becomes so relentless, so crushingly magnetic that the mass, spin and other essentials for life sustaining rationalism are obliterated.  Any random fluctuations of rationality that might survive in the fringe of spiritual relativity then become barely perceptible.  The “paradise” which is achieved either in or around these devastating holes is comparable to the compressed condition of spiritual emptiness at which fundamentalists of any man invented faith system excel.

The greatest error in all the man-made organized religions is the allegiance given by them to the interpretation of warring opposites.  Building spiritual  understanding by using that as its foundation guarantees only the life experiences of physical, emotional and spiritual non-fulfillment and senseless conflicts.  The reason for this is that by adoring only one aspect of Creation’s necessary polar activity issuing out of Source as “God” while condemning the other necessary polar aspect as evil is to practice spiritual schizophrenia. The whole imagined god/devil. heaven/hell, chosen/rejected, save/lost, etc. is rendered meaningless simply because neither creative pole can exist  without the other to project meaning.  All man’s by-the-book faith systems exploit the emotions of love/hate but fail to realize that these are not real opposites for these emotions arise from the same energy center but are projected differently much like light passing through a prism.  The only thing truly opposite to either a love/hate projection could only be indifference.  By personifying the creative polar fields within the creative Source as two outside beings as faith system practice habitually do, the practice that is mistakenly sanctified is the denial of One Cause.

Such a pattern of thought then actively asserts that a rivalry exists in the primordial conditions which are responsible for Creation, with one polar aspect personified as “God” and the other necessary aspect personified as the “devil” or “Satan.”  By this type of alleged “revealed” wisdom the human authors declared these necessary dual components of creative force were separate, incompatible and utterly divorced in creative purpose. By such counseling the man-invented faith systems then led the masses not into enlightenment but deeper into the illusion of Creation’s energies which we experience as matter–the very conditions which faith systems rail against.  When this was then accepted by human imagination as holy truth, these symbols then became adopted and adapted by those who instinctively distrusted the tyranny of man-invented faith systems, but they then used the symbols in Satanism, magic, witchcraft and similar rebellious rites.  In attempting to seek higher power by reversing religious rites and rituals (such as reciting the the Lord’s Prayer backwards, etc.) the only thing accomplished in practicing reversal of the rites was to give credence to the very tenets they claimed to disbelieve.

Man-made faith systems have, through their doctrines of either/or, lost sight of how Creation creates and carelessly muddied the purpose of life for the purpose that profited their corporate religion.  Their theological claims of monotheism rest precariously upon a necessity of dualism, however.  In these faith systems everything is portrayed and defined as good or evil, light or dark, saved or lost, angelic or devil like.  But Creation powers do not create anything as being exclusively this way or that way, but creates everything as a blend of all energy powers.  As contrary as this may seem, this makes for unity through contrast and contained instability, for there can be no light without dark, no up without down, no front without back, for example.  Each energy illusion is but an aspect of Creation’s unity. This means that the Source out of which all Creation expresses itself cannot be some good- only god that is rhapsodized in man-fashioned faith systems, for evil, darkness or negative events cannot have issued from a different Source.  Therefore, to pray to this amoral (meaning neither moral or immoral) primal seat of Creation as some deity-being who is the evolutionary pinnacle of wisdom is but a practice of frustration.

Oddly, these same faith systems tell us not to be deceived by material appearances, yet they are all busy gathering unto themselves as much material baggage and power advantages as possible.  Matter-form, they tell us, means nothing before their version of God, and yet females are to be considered by male dominated faith systems as not being worthy to represent the Creative power that is personified as God.  How do these men then account for the feminine aspects that lie submerged within their own physical being when everyone–indeed every animate species–carries within their physical being the hormones of the opposite sex?  No one can be 100% male, and no one can be 100% female.  And since this is a scientifically proven fact, why do they teach such things as the feigned horror of homoerotic attractions?

With man-contrived faith systems devoted to supernaturalism as guidance then human purpose has become accepted as being nothing more than economic man.  Such faith thus keeps mankind locked in a trap as some amoral creature with an obsession for/with material possessions.  In such a setup it is then easy to regard it as righteous for Earth to be mercilessly plundered and despoiled, for holy wisdom asserts that some distant god approves it all and that “he” or something exclusive to their faith will absolve humankind for its lack of responsibility.

Faith vs Reality

Posted in belief, enlightenment, faith, life, logic, random, religion, secularism, theology, thoughts with tags , , on February 1, 2016 by chouck017894

Reality–the everyday problems which are experienced in this dimension of limited energy which we call life–is not being well served when believers are assured that Creation’s laws can be set aside if only you believe in a certain belief system manner. The universe would implode into nothingness if exceptions were allowed for a certain chosen or saved few to bypass Creation’s laws.  Scientific truth is being ignored when such egocentric beliefs are being marketed as ego stimulants, for the higher truth is that every identity within Creation stands accountable for itself.  The creative laws responsible for the universe cannot be sidestepped or patched over by man-invented rites and ritual or ceremony.  The Heaven and Paradise so fervently yearned for by faith system seekers can never be gained by practicing disrespect for the diversity and variety of other life forms or life styles which share this temporary passage through this limited energy field we speak of as matter.

Faith, the kind that does not rest on logic or open to acceptance of studies of powers invisible to us, is pretty much an inherited thing passed down from the parents and/or society, and it habitually lumbers under the mantle of some faith system which has evolved while its promoters have unethically pursued worldly ambitions.  Unfortunately their drive is to prove to the world that some man-contrived institutionalized faith system is the only way that a person can storm the Creator’s Heaven: That only signals that the bottom line for that promoted faith system rests entirely in this world, not in any higher realm.

Pretending that cosmic powers aid only some particular man-made faith system in extending control over this material world’s tribulations is tragically misleading.  Why would an omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent deity whom they claim to represent be directly dependent upon militant actions of mere man to fulfill that all-powerful deity’s wishes?  That illogical assertion is not consistent with the all-inclusive capabilities claimed for that imagined deity.  The escape propaganda used to get around this theological flaw is the claim that such strong arm devotional indulgences are necessary to “test” the believers’ devotion.  That really answers nothing, for why would an omniscient (all knowing) being ever find it necessary to “test” anything that he/she/it had created?  The only reason for such a hot air claim rests in the ego-driven greed of the “spiritual shepherds: for exercising authority, not to provide any genuine spiritual enlightenment for seekers.

The three highly organized major faith systems of the western world’s cultures–faith systems which are all fragmented by schisms–have each been structured by priest or prophet authors upon a not too subtle prejudice against the bearing principle (considered feminine) that is within the Source which is necessary for life multiplication.  This self-serving and cowardly propaganda has been set in place to “put the blame on woman” in an attempt to absolve the engendering principle within Source (considered male) from all the error and sin in the world.  This propaganda that the creative action which is necessary for bearing forth of matter form is somehow the cause of man’s woes is glaringly antagonistic with the man-is-superior assertion that the male authors penned. It is “holy” guidance such as this of godly approval of inequity that has contributed heavily to mankind’s seemingly endless wars and atrocities.

If the Omniscient power, personified and characterized as a male deity, finds that he/she/it must “test” his/her/its creations for worthiness that divine inclination for questioning any created object or event should be fully acceptable as a human characteristic if we are, as claimed, made in his image.  It is peculiar, therefore, that man-fashioned faith systems tend to abhor questions–especially so in regard to any question concerning their claims of divine authority.  To seriously question the powers-that-be of that faith system can make for some disquieting  conclusions.  One logical conclusion is that only con artists write religious rituals and rites and ceremonies.  That is provable because no one else like you or I really need such crafted public theatrical indulgences to experience personal connection to the all-embracing power in which we exist.  Rites and  ritual and ceremony serve the spiritual pretenders, however, as a means of exercising authority through inflicting a kind of intellectual tyranny which asserts that they and they alone represent what can only be imagined as some Divine Avenger.  That implied avenger conjures up what can only be called superstition which is fleshed out with liberal doses of the supernatural.  This is the intentional crucifixion of rationality nailed upon duplicity.  In that methodology reason is intentionally dishonored for the benefit of theologies.

Despite their implied intimacy with the Creator, true spiritual instruction remains mysteriously nebulous within the tons of man-authored texts which dare to pretend to teach spiritual qualification.  With these texts seekers are taught to reject the varieties and diversities of life expressions, to dismiss any differing way of expressing spiritual consciousness, and to install within themselves a devotion to man-crafted prejudices, bigotry, hatreds, and their religious inspired massacres and wars.  The unifying power that underlies the entire universe and its diversity is totally ignored for the self-imposed illusion fashioned by EGO for imagined exclusiveness with the Creator of that diversity.

Sacred Uncertainties

Posted in Astronomy, belief, Bible, Christianity, culture, enlightenment, faith, Hebrew scripture, random, religion, scriptures, Social, theology with tags , , , , , , , on January 1, 2015 by chouck017894

For the majority of persons of the western world today who have been indoctrinated into the Christian faith systems, few are aware that there is yet to be found any original copies of any of the books which are honored as the New Testament. There are age-old copies, to be sure, but they are just that–copies. Usually of copies. And the Hebrew Scriptures, so proudly declared to be meticulously accurate reproduction of god-dictated word, many uncertainties happen to linger there which necessitate footnotes (as in the New Revised Standard Version). In fact various passages are integrated where translators were uncertain what the original text really was (as, for example, in 1 and 2 Samuel). This presents a tragic predicament for world cultures because of the many uncertainties which continue to hover over and cloud all man-written “sacred” texts (including the Quran). Despite their glaring faults the questionable texts have been used as models upon which were fashioned each culture’s morals, ethics and spiritual trust. Thus it is sacred uncertainties which have served as foundations for three by-th-book faith systems which routinely reflect their holiness in constant murderous conflicts.

Basic beliefs, most of which originated in Bronze Age tribal cultures, were heavily colored by fears and superstition. In addition the words which have been handed down through century after century have been altered–sometimes accidentally, more often deliberately–by the countless interpreters and translators who put their own spin on the declared meaning in those copied words. Predictably the declared meaning said to be god-relayed in those man-written texts was always interpreted from the events of the interpreter’s timeframe. The fundamental philosophy which brought about all the age-old written “holy” words conveniently allowed for such self-defensive flexibility and manipulative license. And it is precisely this philosophical elasticity which stimulates the addictive fascination for what is revered as holy word. It provides anxious seekers with ego gratification–which is commonly praised and promoted as spiritual fulfillment. Unfortunately, the stories in extreme antiquity were knowingly penned to illustrate cosmological and/or life-purpose points. Regrettably these were often indirectly, and more often intentionally, colored by later scribes personal likes, dislikes, envy and jealousies, which consequently provoked irrelevant posturing and theatrics rather than radiating any genuine spiritual enlightenment.

The faithful who cling unquestioningly to sacred texts (Hebrew Scriptures, New Testament or Quran, as examples) like to believe that those compositions which have been accepted as revealed and sacred, contain no mistakes, no textural booboos, no additions, and no faulty assessments. But every such textural “holy” work was produced by human hands, and even the most faithful humans fall far short in cosmic awareness to serve as infallible spokesmen for the perfection and broad diversity which is the creative and sustaining power which is the all-enfolding Source.

The discovery in 1947 of a number of parchment scrolls which contained Hebrew and Aramaic scriptural texts and liturgical writings of an ascetic community which dated from c. 250 BCE to about 70 CE are known as the Dead Sea Scrolls. The intensive research on these scrolls brought to light the startling fact that those texts, which are around a thousand years older than any previously known “old texts,” contained a stockpile of significant differences from the Hebrew Scriptures which are today considered to have always been rigidly inviolable. Time and circumstances since the era of the Scroll’s authorship brought with them alterations that resulted in textural content which became more or less standardized only around 1000 CE. Thus the western world today has become victim to what may be termed sacred shell games.

Genuine history is routinely forgotten in what has become accepted as holy word. For example, the OT book of Esther was rewritten from an older version which some scholars have said had been composed by some Roman author. Rabbi Akiba ben Joseph(c. 50-132 BCE) was one of the most eminent teachers of his timeframe, and he headed the school at Jaffa–and it was he who rewrote the text known as Esther. And the Jewish code known as the Mishnah was developed by him partly on the basis of his own teachings. In the original Roman account of the Esther tale there was a character named Haman (or Aman or Hamin) who vowed to kill all Jews. (Some scholars say that Haman was modeled upon a Roman aristocrat, Arius Piso.) The Jewish holiday feast of Purim was established ostensibly to celebrate the deliverance of the Jews from that threatened massacre by Haman. The rewritten book of Esther and the association of Haman with Roman aristocracy (Piso) therefore served as a covert reminder to all Jews of the alleged conspiracy of the Romans to destroy the Jews.

Once a faith system has compiled its self-serving literary collection and stamped it as “canon” (an ecclesiastical code or laws), that man-written anthology is advertised and marketed as containing all knowledge and information which is ever necessary for a believer to attain godly protection, salvation or entrance into Paradise. Thus have sacred theatrics and devised by-the-book directions been set in place as the edifying mechanism over mankind’s social and spiritual evolution (or lack thereof).

Today, contented that the faith systems which we have been taught as holding divine knowledge and which supposedly extends privileged access into a higher and exclusive domain, we are kept uninformed of how and from what that belief slowly and haphazardly evolved. Every man-contrived faith system has been built upon the awe and wonder that our ancient ancestors had felt for the celestial panorama which was then unmarred by the light and air pollution we humans produce today. In our self-enveloped bubble of technology we have been led away from the ancients’ awareness and veneration of the universal phenomenon, and those observations and practices became intentionally modified and disguised. Why? Because the”Pagan” sources from which those holy words were “revealed” had openly respected such things as solstice periods, time of equinoxes, phases of the moon, constellation grouping of stars, and their associated cycles with nature. These and other such natural observable facts played calculated influences in every man-contrived by-the-book faith system which dominate societies today, and those natural wonders are camouflaged and smothered under priest-invented “histories” and theatrical performances.

Man, it’s almost enough to drive an atheist to attempt a prayer! Lord, rest your hand upon the heads of your earnest seekers, and your other hand over the mouths of the self-possessed proselytizers.

Claims of Exclusive Prayer Power

Posted in Atheist, belief, culture, enlightenment, faith, life, random, religion, Social, theology with tags , , , , , , , on September 1, 2014 by chouck017894

The devout followers of any man-invented faith system are too often arrogantly self-possessed–so sure that they alone possess the only communication link to some aloof and prejudiced Creator-God. This assessment has been triggered by a passing conversation in which such a faith system devotee declared, “If you are an atheist then obviously you can’t pray.” Sadly, such a declaration as to who can or cannot link with Creation’s power indicates that what these man-invented faith systems peddle as exclusive privilege is not “holy” truth.

No man-contrived faith system can honestly claim to have a monopoly on the connective liberty that each and every person has to align with cosmic consciousness–that personal approach which is commonly spoken of as prayer. This erroneous concept that there is only one select collection of people who can “pray” with an exclusive access to higher power stems from the mistake of personifying the energy Source of Creation as a humanlike being who is wracked with petty prejudices and empty hatreds. The awesome sustaining energy of Creation is demonstratively not a discriminatory power: this is openly declared in the mind-boggling variety and diversity which is active throughout the functioning, living universe around us.

As noted in the limited edition book, The Celestial Scriptures (page 434): “Properly understood, prayer is the adjustment of (the individual’s) aware consciousness in which there is opened a sense of personal relationship with universal forces. In most cases this requires only the quieting of rapid-fire thoughts, a not so easy endeavor in a world that has become so intent upon a fast paced pursuit of material things.”

Scientific research has documented that there exists within each person seven levels of consciousness. This discovery is something of a startling echo of prehistory teachings in regard to Creation processes, for it was then taught that energy involved through seven dimensions of involvement to manifest as matter. These developmental planes of energy were referred to in the ancient lessons as involution. This creative principle is even a known mathematical concept which is expressed as “the multiplying of a quantity by itself for a specified number of times, thus raising it to a specific power.” Thus even scientific research and mathematical theory provide strong evidence that the aware-consciousness of every individual has the divine right to draw upon the unlimited power of the creative Infinite Presence to define themselves. Attempting to bring the seven levels of consciousness into accord with that creative energy is what the corporate styled faith systems commonly refer to as prayer. In knowing the progressive stages of Creation power it is proven that “prayer” is not exclusive to any faith system: indeed, everyone, at whatever level, has the divine right of access. Aligning the seven levels of consciousness active within each of us as a harmonic energy field and that energy then follows the same Creation sequence of application to produce the sought after energy configuration. This is the “law of amassing” (Creation) through harmony–or responsible coexistence–which is the universal generating factor and which provides the “answers.”

Admittedly, this is not exactly as easy as it sounds, primarily because our self-aware consciousness is temporarily anchored in this transitory energy-matter form. The main necessity of aligning the seven levels of consciousness as a harmonic field is dependent upon not seeking to exercise rigid command over them. That is tricky. For example, any hint of negative intent, such as greed, anger, envy, revenge, etc., which colors one’s attempted alignment will automatically distort the outcome. In other words, any attempted alignment for the purpose of indulging personal ego can result only in short-circuiting the connection into creative potentiality. This is a Creation principle, and it is not something that highly organized ego-pampering faith systems will or can offer to seekers for the simple reason that all these faith systems have been built upon and maintained by imposing self-serving dogmatism upon seekers for the purpose of exercising worldly influence. So it is they, not some other man-invented faith system or atheists, who do not understand the actual technicalities of “prayer.” Man-invented faith systems intentionally place themselves between seekers and Cosmic Consciousness, which short-circuits personal power, for no one can pray effectively if the Patriarchal Principles of Creation are not acknowledged and drawn upon. Those Patriarchal Principles of Creation are not a monopoly product.

What man-invented faith systems religiously ignore is the scientifically proven reality that every energy-defined thing is surrounded with an energy field of force. Biological fields, for example, are actually detectable in the air that surrounds every living organism—from the largest creatures on this planet to the most infinitesimal cells. You and I and every animate and inanimate identity radiates an electrodynamic field about our physical forms which can be detected and measured with a voltmeter. This non-physical radiance is not usually perceptible to human sight, but is measurable with special instruments. That subtle energy may possibly be the matrix or template or blueprint which defines all energy-as-matter forms. And these defining energy fields, each secure upon their matrix, can then freely interact in subtle and revitalizing exchange which we perceive as the momentum of time and space. Thus each of us is, allegorically speaking, much like a little mirror which reflects the vast power of the living universe back into itself. We humans are more complex than any other life forms known to us on this tiny planet, and despite many shared energy building blocks which amalgamated as the energy which defines us, our matter-self remains presided over by consciousness of self in which the quality of conscience is ordained to evolve.

As energy-matter beings endowed with self-aware consciousness which evolves within us as conscience (seat of moral quality), we thus stand somewhat midpoint between the most massive definable objects in the universe and the most infinitesimal. All this speaks of the continual interaction of countless and diverse forms of energy. Indeed, a multidimensional configuration of energy may conceivably exist which continually and instantaneously encompasses the entire universe. What this means is that which we perceive as time and space is only our temporary subjective awareness, so our physical perception is not necessarily a factual exercise of comprehension! Our conception of past or future, for example, may very well coexist as only one aspect within an eternal present. And because every definable energy-entity draws upon that unlimited power of Infinite Presence to define itself, each of us hold the divine right of access which faith systems market as “prayer.” Everyone has that personal connection with universal power or we would not be self-aware. This means that no man-invented faith system can truthfully claim exclusive access into Creation’s power.

Equal Before Creation

This assessment has been triggered by a passing conversation in which such a faith system devotee declared, “If you’re an atheist then you certainly can’t pray.” Sadly, such a declaration as to who can link with Creation’s power indicates that what these man-invented faith systems peddle as exclusive privilege is not “holy” truth.

No man-contrived faith system can honestly claim to have a monopoly on the connective liberty that each person has to align with cosmic conscience–that personal approach which is commonly spoken of as prayer. Scientific research has recognized that there exists seven levels of consciousness. This discovery is something of a startling echo of prehistory teaching of Creation processes, for it was taught that energy involves through seven dimensions of development to manifest as matter. These developmental planes were referred to in ancient lessons as involution. This Creation principle is even a mathematical concept expressed as “…the multiplying of a quantity by itself for a specified number of times, thus raising it to a specific power.” So even scientific research and mathematical theory provide strong evidence that the aware consciousness of every individual has the divine right to draw upon the unlimited power of Infinite Presence to define themselves. Attempting to bring the seven levels of consciousness into accord with that creative energy is what corporate styled faith systems commonly refer to as prayer. The main necessity of aligning the seven levels of consciousness as a harmonic field is dependent upon not seeking to exercise rigid command over them. That is tricky. For example, any hint of negative intent, such as greed, anger, envy, revenge, lust, etc., which colors attempted alignment with Creation’s power will automatically distort the outcome. In other words, any attempted alignment for the purpose of indulging personal ego can result only in short circuiting the connection into creative potentiality. This is a Creation principle, and it is not something that highly organized faith systems will or can offer to seekers for the simpe reason that these faith systems have themselves been built upon and maintained by imposing self-serving dogmatism upon seekers for the purpose of exercising worldly influence. So it is they, not especially the atheists, who do not understand the actual technicalities of “prayer,” for no one can pray effectively if the Patriarchal Priniciples of Creation are not recognized. As beings with self-aware consciousness–which endows us with conscience, which is to say the reflection of our true self (the understanding of the interrelatedness of all things)–we thus stand somewhat midpoint between the most massive definable objects in Creation and the most infinitesimal. All this speaks of the continual interaction of countless and diverse forms of energy; indeed, a multidimensional configuration of energy may conceivably exist which continually and instantaneously spans the entirety of Creation. What this means is that which we perceive as time and space is only our temporary subjective awareness, so our physical perception is not necessarily a factual exercise of comprehension. Our conception of past or future, for example, may very well coexist within an eternal present. And because every definable energy entity draws upon that unlimited power of Infinite Presence to define itself, each holds the divine right of access to that indiscriminate power which faith systems like to call “prayer.”

It is only when one gets over claiming what happens to be a democratic right as a faith system’s exclusive possession that Creation’s power freely responds with whatever is needed.

Saving Souls With Threats of Death

(Thoughts after attending a screening of a documentary concerning Uganda’s parliamentary consideration of an anti-homosexual bill which would mandate executing alleged “serial offenders.”)

All faith systems promote themselves by promising to lead their followers on the only approved pathway into an eternal Paradise. However, these faith systems can offer no testimonials from the beyond by their satisfied customers, no offer extended of money back if the product is found to be defective, no proof of their high rank as official spokesmen for the King of Heaven—except by their own public image diploma mills. There is next to nothing ever acknowledged by them regarding the great variety and diversity which is the working mechanism of the universe; their ego-gratifying concepts of the Maker does not incorporate the act of inclusion of that variety and diversity which the Maker openly prefers and has always displayed.

This assessment of common faith system sins is prompted by a recently released independent documentary “God Loves Uganda” (limited showing in West Los Angeles, California). The film covers the invasion, may we say, of missionaries from the USA to the African nation of Uganda. The faith system responsible for this sin of spiritual sabotage is the Kansas City-based so-called International House of Prayer, a Pentecostal Christian conglomerate specializing in stirring up hatred in the name of holiness. The missionaries, primarily in their early twenties, are filled with youthful zeal, if not genuine spiritual enlightenment.

The purpose of sending out these young missionaries to Uganda certainly is not in the name of godly tolerance; it is the deliberate misinterpretation of the interrelationship of all life in a selfish pursuit of self-aggrandizement. It is this inappropriate ego titillation, not spiritual enlightenment, which lures the inexperienced young into the army of spiritual misfits under the false claim of being “touched by grace.”

The youthful missionaries take to the street corners (of Kampala, Uganda for example), and there, dressed in dark suits and holding an open copy of holy word, they fervently preach with brainwashed zeal for the governmental murder of persons who are god-instilled with same-sex orientation. This hateful notion that a brutal God has to correct his own alleged mistakes by calling upon the predatory side of man is totally contradictory to the loudly declared assertions that the all-powerful, all-knowing Creator-God is a just and merciful God. The insanity of smothering all morality, ethics and conscience in a vacuum of hatred is made even more frightening by the fact that the Uganda parliament is actually being influenced by this gruesome manipulative propaganda that passes as spiritual shepherding!

There is the probability in their government’s willingness to deliberate over the call for murder of gay individuals is that the politicians are most likely blinded by fear–not especially of any alleged sins of same-sex attraction, but out of concern for the spreading epidemic of HIV, which the evangelicals improperly blamed upon the activities of gay persons. That passion for hatred, drawn from Old Testament savagery such as promoted in Leviticus, provides easy scapegoats for public sacrifice. Stirred into this brew of misinformation is the fact that these same religionists who call for murder of gays had earlier promoted abstinence as the means of deflecting youthful curiosity about sex. The holy hucksters from Kansas City had pontified that abstinence was preferable to God instead of safeguarding young minds through sexual education! Obviously the religionists encouragement of abstinence had not proven to be the holy answer to the HIV epidemic among the populace.

All of this senseless turmoil of cultivated hatred which the Kansas City evangelists trust upon Uganda is made even more hideous by the fact that the demagoguery of the brainwashed missionaries pays off in huge financial rewards for the home base. And these toxic seeds that the missionaries have spread across Uganda have also paid off handsomely in their sponsored mega-churches in that nation.

When will the world learn that the self-serving hypocrites who disguise themselves under holy garb have absolutely nothing to do with genuine spiritual enlightenment?

Arrested Spiritual Development, AKA Theology

Theology is generally defined as a methodically formulated “study” which dares to claim that it provides “knowledge” and the “science” regarding the nature of God. In actuality theology is more of a speculative exercise system of belief which builds upon the hypothesis that a supernatural being (with humanlike characteristics) created and sits in judgment of everything in Creation. This “study” is heavily promoted as religious truth and theological science which allegedly provides rational inquiry into religious questions. Oddly, all organized faith systems, especially those which are run by the book, pivot upon somewhat differing opinions as to what constitutes “divinity” and what humanity’s relationship is with that alleged “divine being.” The subject of theoloty is marketed as a study course which specializes in “religious research,” and is commonly obtainable at a faith-based university or seminary. In other words, the “science” (loosely defined) is a money oriented study for attaining a salary-oriented career.

The modern use of the term “theology” refers to a rather narrow approach to the universal powers which are imagined to correspond to a super-humanlike being. This is a self-serving mode of propaganda which insinuates that it teaches exclusive knowledge. But in more ancient timeframes such as classical Greece, theology, by the etymology of the word, signified a discourse about the divine Source as ultimate god by men such as Pherecydes of Syros (6th century BCE), a teacher of Pythagoras, and the man Epimenides of Crete (around 600 BCE), who is reputedly the “prophet” quoted by “Saint” Paul in Titus 1:12. Broadly speaking, theology includes the earliest classical understanding as being a discourse about God, but the study also theorizes man’s nature which seems to indicate a distinct (faith system) relationship with that theorized god. This is then easily expanded into speculation of how each person’s life experiences determine the relationship of each person’s destiny with God.

Theological studies assert that “other sciences” such as biology are incorporated, and these true sciences allegedly support and affirm “the scientific explanation of religious life.” Even so, this claimed “scientific” relationship still generates only a system of doctrines, dogmatism, and duties which support and promotes the faith system. Nothing in such a setup really elevates a seeker’s spirit into true enlightenment. It might be concluded, therefore, that theology is an elaborate practice which was invented for the bedevilment of reason.

There is, consequently, an abundance of terms and expressions that have been produced to promote the beliefs which each faith system offers. About the only thing that all these man-formulated systems (categorized under the umbrella of “religion”) actually agree upon is that anyone who does not subscribe to a supernatural explanation of universal powers is damned and those poor souls’ rational skepticism is spoken of as (gasp) “atheism!” In other words,a theist’s judgment is systematically and subconsciously programmed with hatred toward any differing search for enlightenment instead of being infused with spiritual tolerance. Meanwhile the vocabulary of faith system believers remains colored with its descriptive theist tag, meaning “god,” in words such as monotheist, henotheist, polytheist, pantheist, and even atheist, and the misunderstood term deist. Deism, as an example, is the belief that the truth of the existence of the creative Life Principle (which is commonly personified as God) can only be discovered by each individual through the evidence of reason and nature, and without resort to any particular church or to claims of revelation. The bulk of founding fathers of the United States were deists, not Christians, as example. Deism is from Latin, theism is from Greek.

Excesses of any faith system are inestimable, and they flourish under such proudly displayed emblems as two interlocked triangles making up a six pointed star, a dead body hanging on a cross, a crescent moon cupping a five-pointed star, and other faith system insignia. All too commonly religious devotion to imagined divinities has been slyly misdirected and that yearning by seekers for true enlightenment then becomes sacrificed for an indulgence in eccentric procedures. Theological construction utilizes (for it own ends) philosophical terms of value, but rationality is the least valued of those terms. At its best, theological study can only tippy-toe around philosophical dedication to rationality in its pursuit of theological tenets.

True philosophy is the attempt to uncover an ultimate truth by rational means; theology, however, is prone to limit (and heavily so) rational investigation, willingly sacrificing that standard of philosophy for the faith system purpose which strives to impose a submit-and-obey following. To accomplish this, theological study has to incorporate a philosophical starting point if it is to make the study appear rational. Thus are alleged “revelations” which have been handed down by tribal ancestors made to serve as the starting point upon which a pretense of “scientific study” of those revelations may be presented by imitating philosophical premises. Theology’s claimed affiliation with philosophy, we could thus say, is something like an occasional behind-the-barn intimacy. It is akin to a hormone-driven need to feel intimacy with rationality, but those moments of dalliance must be kept hidden from the gullible public.

Exegetical theology is a more recent attempt at trying to include genuine scientific principles in support of their belief system by accepting the evidence of evolution as being active in both the spiritual and material dimensions of creation. In other words, exegetical theology leans strongly toward universalism. By this means, however, the creative life-infusing power which is personified as “God” can never really be classified as Jewish, Christian, Muslim or any other man-contrived membership belief system, for that Source power continues to indiscriminately uphold any and all aspects of whatever mankind may perceive from his limited observation of Creation.

So is it ever appropriate to bestow upon ethnic faith systems a collection of invented theological claims as being “scientific” or “facts”? The central tenets of any established faith system must, of necessity, provide some allusion of historical background for those tenets, but any in-depth investigation of any faith system will reveal that there is not one in existence which has not heavily whitewashed its true history. Ignoring true historical data does not enhance spiritual reliability.

Pretense of Piety

Religious proselytizing is a special type of propaganda.  From at least the early 1960s in the United States there has been a virtual epidemic of this type of pseudo holiness.  The spread of this affliction has been a carefully plotted pattern of contamination by those who recognized the material profits and worldly power that was to be had by injecting people’s psyches with holy fears of being rejected by the Source and sustainer of all diverse life.

Through the last couple of decades of the twentieth century each person’s personal beliefs about how they are to respect the creative life force has been artfully deformed into a political cause that dares assert that their selected belief systems should have free access to tax money collected from all diverse people to practice their religious brand of discrimination.  “Faith-based” is a deceptive moniker chosen to proclaim their delusions of exclusive access to an indifferent creative force, and is nothing more than propaganda rhetoric.  Even today, a decade into the 21st century, sectarian lobbies shamelessly seek the political clout to force all U. S. citizens to live under their narrow, man-invented theological regulations.  How militaristic maneuvering for earthly power is a soul-saving operation for a loving omnipotent Creator fails to compute as spiritual integrity.

Think this claim of religious politicizing is farfetched?  In November 2009 a coalition of extremist evangelicals and Roman Catholic bishops met to pound out a 4,700 page document they called “Manhattan Declaration,” with the pretentious subtitle, “A Call of Christian Conscience.”  Of course it is implied that the arrogant political demands framed in the document were God-directed, with God supposedly recommending public policies that covered such things as marriage rights, reproductive rights, what is to be accepted as proper sexual magnetism, and other niceties.  These representatives of a proclaimed loving God backed up their holiness by declaring they would ignore any democratic-flavored laws that they did not like.  They, and no one else, had heard God’s shrill trumpet—or “clarion call”—for strict regimentation in conduct of life’s diversity that would please him.

So extreme and devious are these types of hierarchical “faith” systems that they dare to self-promote their spiritual selfishness as “a promotion of human dignity.”  And, by God,  they will seek to wipe out anyone who disagrees with them!

The Preamble of this bloated Declaration begins with the statement that…”Christians are heirs of a 2,000 year tradition of proclaiming God’s word, seeking justice in our societies, resisting tyranny, and reaching out with compassion to the poor, the oppressed and suffering.”  The interpretation of Christian history that follows this whitewash then lingers only on the sparse times when Christian practitioners happened to actually rise above the very offenses they say that they denounce.  True history shows that justice was not exactly a Christian concern in the formative years of the movement: they were more rebels, criminals and agitators than law-abiders.  The tyranny of the Roman Catholic Church indulged in justice by “reaching out with the compassion” that is known as the Inquisition when millions of defenseless souls were tortured and killed for not measuring up to church demands.

The document sidesteps all the many gory pages of their religious practices by saying, “While fully acknowledging the imperfections and shortcomings of Christian institutions and communities in all ages…” they then quickly claim Christianity to have been the only source that “defended innocent  life”!  If this document is taken as truth, only Christians have been responsible for any advances in human welfare and care in the world.

To borrow words from the Manhattan Document, “…consider carefully and reflect critically on the issues…” that you pompously trumpet.  You have no right whatsoever to make demands on the diverse expressions of life that you dare to judge.  What you pretend is spiritual enlightenment amounts to little more than masturbation of your ego.

Basis of Holy Trinity Concept

The concept of a trinity or triune involvement responsible for Creation is a feature in all religions in some way.  The religions that have evolved through the millennia have clouded and lost the more ancient understanding of the creation process as they were once taught and which became presented and personified as a “trinity” in a holy mystery.  Modern science helps us understand the genius in prehistory cultures that recognized what truly constitutes the three-in-one within the creative Source.   Those three aspects of holy mystery are recognized today in physics and are called the three families of elementary particles.

The basic particles of all matter as defined in atomic chemistry are electrons, protons, and neutrons.  These constitute the three-in-one that serve as the nucleus that activates as elementary substance.  The electron is the smallest unit charge of negative electricity.  Together with the proton and neutron, it makes up one of the fundamental particles of which all matter is composed.  In the simplest nucleus, that of the hydrogen atom of mass 1, the nucleus consists of a single proton which has a positive charge of electricity that is equal in magnitude to that of an electron.  The neutron, the third part of the nucleus, is an uncharged particle.  These three particles must be present together to activate into elementary substance, the basis of all matter: allegorically “one god subsisting in three persons and one substance.”   Thus in Christian rearrangement this accounts for the “three persons” where Jesus allegedly commanded his disciples to go out and baptize “in the name of the father and of the son and  of the holy spirit.” (Matthew 28:19)

Molecules, those minute particles that move about as a singular whole, were once thought to be the fundamental particles—or building blocks of matter.  It was eventually determined, however, that molecules were made up of atoms.  Looking further into atoms, science then discovered that the atoms were nuclei with electrons around them.  From this discovery the understanding arose that nuclei were composed of neutrons and protons.  But even these were discovered not to be the smallest elementary particles, but that neutrons and protons were themselves built out of quarks.

The quark of  physics is a miniscule set of fermions having an electrical charge, and this is thought to be the fundamental particle of the universe.  The word “particle,” unfortunately, tends to be interpreted as a singular thing with quantity.  But a fundamental particle is more representative of what may be termed a trace point of eternal energy involvement.  This is not something that can be regarded as “god” or a divine being, although it is the ever-circling of energy within itself out of which is projected the kaleidoscopic colorings that we see as the complexity of the universe.

Actively involving out of and with quarks, the neutrons and protons arise much like polar energies.  These, in turn, involve and transform as nuclei with electrons around it.  These elementary particles are not yet what could be considered defined form, but only a unity of primal energy with the potential of forming into energy-substance.  All three aspects within the primordial conditions gather as potential form that is capable of emanating as a force, and this is then capable of exerting itself with four distinct properties of involvement necessary for material manifestation—allegorized in Genesis as four rivers out of Eden.  The unlimited potentiality held within the elementary particle was represented as three eternal, interacting, and inseparable aspects that ejaculate as energies of Creation.  This is ancient knowledge upon which claims were made for “revealed” information in sacred texts.  In the New Testament, for example, the unverifiable character of John is alleged to have said, “…there are three that bear record in heaven, and these three are one.  And there are three that bear witness in earth, and these three agree in one.”  As we have seen, the three-in-one is indeed recorded throughout the universe, and indeed the three creative principles do bear witness in the projected energy that defines Earth, and thus confirms they agree in one.
